Boostrap 4 Introduction
Bootstrap is an open-source front-end framework primarily used for designing responsive and mobile-first websites and web applications.
Bootstrap provides a collection of CSS and JavaScript templates and components, making it easier for developers to create consistent and visually appealing web interfaces.
Short History of Bootstrap
Twitter Blueprint was the original name of Bootstrap before it became a project on its own.
It still remains an open source internal tool intended to standardize the way web development is done by providing developers with a set of reusable components and conventions for building responsive, mobile-first web sites.
Thus in August 2011 it was launched to the public as Bootstrap, which had already gained popularity within the company.
